i.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit them. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as language preferences, items in a cart, or whether you've logged in — so the site behaves consistently across visits.

Cookies have been a standard part of how the web works for over two decades. Most cookies are harmless and necessary for sites to function properly. Some cookies, however, are used for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes, which is why they're regulated under privacy laws like GDPR and India's DPDP Act.

In short

Our site uses a small number of cookies — mostly essential ones to make the site work, and optional analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable any cookie at any time in your browser settings.

ii.Why we use cookies

We use cookies for two main purposes:

  • To make the site work properly — for example, remembering your form input if you partially fill it in, or keeping the navigation working consistently as you move between pages.
  • To understand how visitors use the site — anonymous, aggregated data about which pages get viewed, how long visitors stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the site over time.

We do not use cookies for:

  • Advertising or remarketing
  • Building profiles for ad targeting
  • Cross-site tracking
  • Selling or sharing data with third-party advertisers

iii.Types of cookies we use

The cookies on our site fall into the following categories:

3.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They do things like remember whether you've consented to non-essential cookies, maintain your session, and keep forms working. They cannot be disabled within our site, though you can block them at the browser level (which may break some functionality).

3.2 Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how long people stay, and what paths they take. The data is anonymous and aggregated. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.

3.3 Functional cookies

These cookies remember your preferences (e.g. UI state). They don't track behaviour and aren't shared with third parties.

iv.Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use on the site. These services have their own privacy policies. The third-party services we use are:

  • Google Analytics (analytics) — for understanding site usage. Google's privacy policy
  • Google Fonts (essential, no cookies) — for serving web fonts. May log IP addresses for delivery.
  • Google Maps (functional) — embedded on the contact page to show our studio location. Google's privacy policy

We do not use Facebook Pixel, ad-tracking pixels, third-party retargeting tools, or any other behavioural tracking services.

v.Managing cookies

You have several ways to manage cookies on our site:

  • On first visit — most visitors see a cookie consent prompt where they can accept or decline non-essential cookies
  • Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (see below)
  • Opt-out tools — for analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on

Note: blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site (especially the contact form) from working properly.

vi.Browser settings

All major browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies. Here are direct links to instructions for the most common browsers:

vii.Do Not Track

Some browsers allow users to send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. Currently, there is no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our site does not change its behaviour based on DNT signals at this time.

However, if you want to limit tracking, the simplest options are: (1) decline non-essential cookies on first visit, (2) block cookies in your browser settings, or (3) use the analytics opt-out add-on linked above.

viii.Changes to this notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time as our use of cookies changes or as required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be flagged on our website.
